What is the OASIS Project?
OASIS Project is a non-profit initiative dedicated to empowering children in Dominican Republic and beyond through inclusive speech and language therapy, education, and cross-cultural collaboration. By bringing together professional therapists and international volunteers, we ensure that every child—regardless of background—has access to communication tools that unlock opportunity and personal growth.
Through a unique blend of therapy and cultural exchange, OASIS Project promotes inclusion, compassion, and transformation for children, families, and future professionals alike.

To provide children from vulnerable communities in the Dominican Republic with free, high-quality speech and language therapy while mentoring students in culturally responsive, hands-on service. We believe communication is a right—not a privilege—and through the OASIS Project, we build bridges between people, cultures, and futures.

Last year, OASIS Project served 320 children in Santo Domingo and Dajabón, far surpassing our initial target of 100. This overwhelming response highlights the urgent need for accessible speech therapy in the Dominican Republic—and fuels our commitment to grow. Through collaboration, compassion, and consistent support, we aim to reach more than 500 children in our next cycle.
